PRINCE2 1 principle - Continued business justification

PRINCE2 project must apply continued business justification principle on every project.

Key message of this principle - each organization project must have documented project Business case & Benefit management plan, that are used to judge (verify) project investment validity on agreed regular moments during the project or if project viability is threatened. Justification should be done when taking project steering commitee decisions.

This principle is one of most important and mandatory because organization should not start or even continue sunk cost projects without having justification & documented evidence of investment true value in these important data elements project business case & project benefit review plan

Project business case should be revised on regular basis and updated if needed.
